BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
Please note that, from the April 2018 meeting, there will be a change to the payment system for day tours and theatre parties. Extended tours are not affected.
Tour bookings will always open at a monthly meeting (first Wednesday of the month from 6.45 pm) and the FULL payment for day tours or theatre parties should be made then. For day tours, a seat number on the coach will be allocated when booking. For theatre parties, members will be given a date when tickets may be collected.
It is worth noting that some tours fill on the opening night. If there are still vacancies, full payment may also be made at the Club's Bistro on the third Monday of the month from 5 - 6 pm. We endeavour to keep this website up-to-date, but this is not always possible, so please check that there are vacancies before making a payment.
For your convenience, payments can be posted to: Penshurst RSL Travel Club,
C/- Penshurst RSL Club, 58A Penshurst Street, Penshurst NSW 2222. Payments may also be left in the Travel Club tin held at the Penshurst RSL Club's reception desk. Either way, please state clearly which tour you are booking and enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope for return of the receipt.
Payments may be made in cash (obviously not by mail), or preferably by cheque made payable to PENSHURST RSL TRAVEL CLUB. The Travel Club does not offer credit/EFTPOS facilities.
THE PAYMENT SLIP SUPPLIED TO YOU IS OUR ONLY FORM OF RECEIPT, SO PLEASE KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE, AS IT WILL NEED TO BE RETURNED TO US IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION.
CANCELLATIONS: To cancel after a tour's closing date, an administration charge will apply. If a cancellation is received too late to fill that seat and payment has already been sent to the venue, a refund will not be possible.
THEATRE PARTIES:
Group bookings are organised to several shows during the year, normally matinees. Travel Club members are given first preference, but Penshurst RSL Club members and non-members may also book at the same price. After the advertised closing date, there is no refund or return on tickets. However, they may be transferred to a person of your choice. We use public transport to most shows in the city.
EXTENDED TOUR PRICES:
All extended tour prices printed are Twin Share (ts), Per Person (pp). Single Supplements (ss) are available if required at an extra cost. If it's not possible to find someone to share with, the single supplement will apply. GST is included in all advertised prices.
PAYMENTS FOR EXTENDED TOURS (of more than one day):
On extended tours, members will be given an Extended Tour Application form which should be completed when paying the deposit. This will ensure correct rooming, dietary requirements etc. Members will be given several weeks/months to pay for their trip. On tours of more than two days, seat rotation will apply.
